1996 American Silver Eagle PCGS MS68 1oz .999 Beautiful Toning *COLOR* KEY DATE

Key Date 1996 1 oz .999 Fine Silver American Silver Eagle just back from PCGS, along with a handful of other key date Eagles, where it was graded PCGS MS68. 

Amazing Toning on this example. Housed in a small American Flag style cardboard holder for the last couple decades, this coin has slowly toned over the years with the wonderful works of what Mother Nature does best.

Beautiful toning and color, predominantly around the rim but extending towards the centers. In my opinion, the color was NOT captured very well on the PCGS True View. Sadly the quality of their photography remains in steady decline since the departure of Phil Arnold.

Beautiful electric/neon green, shades of gold, azure along with shades of rose, magenta and lilac all blended to perfection by Mother Nature’s Brush.
