Rare to find these nowadays – only 25,599 of these 1954 Double Carded Mint Sets were struck and it is estimated less than 10% survive today in their original packaging.
3 Coin Boards, one for each mint, Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco; and 2 coins of each denomination and mint mark.
Coins in these sets almost always deeply tone up mainky due to the high sulfur content in these coin boards. These coins are absolutely original as attested by the thick toning and patina on all of them. Rich color, deeply toned on all thge silver coins. The Lincoln Cents have managed to maintain a rich, cherry red color and the Nickels are probably the least toned of them all
