1939 P Uncirculated Mint Set 5 Coins Cent Nickel Dime Quarter Half Dollar Gem BU

1939 Philadelphia BU Brilliant Uncirculated Year/Mint Set in a Capital Style Plastic Snap Tight Holder.

This is not an Offical US Mint Released Mint Set Per Se (they didnt make any in 1939). This is one someone assembled at some point in time; and might I say, he or she chose some excellent examples.

All of these coins are Choice BU or better; most are Gem Level coins or very nearly so. All have tremendous luster, wholesome original surfaces, minimal toning and excellent eye appeal.

1939 Lincoln Cent – Cherry Red Gem. Fully Struck and very pleasing.

1939 Jefferson Nickel (appears to be Reverse 1938, but I am not positive) – Brilliant, Lustrous Fully Struck

1939 Mercury Dime – Frosty White Luster. Gem to Superb Gem BU with virtually mark free surfaces and spectaclar luster. Appears to have FSB Full Split Bands, Or at least very nearly so (see vlose up photo of Fasces and make yiour own judgment).

1939 Washington Quarter – Frosty White Lustrous Coin. Gem BU or very nearly so.

1939 Walking Liberty Half Dollar – Frosty, lustrous snow white coin with just a hint of lilar and light colored overtones. Very Choice BU to Gem BU without too much debate.
