1878-CC Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS64+ Frosty White 1st Year Better Date

Better Date 1878-CC Morgan Silver Dollar graded PCGS MS64+.

At the time of this listing, this is the only 1878-CC Morgan Silver Dollar graded MS64+,listed for sale on eBay by ANY Grading company. Furthermore, I see zero in this grade currently for auction at the biggest auction houses (Great Collections, Heritage, Stacks and Bowers). I cannot find any recently sold (last 5 years) except for one.

The most recent one to have sold was a few months ago, an NGC MS64+ sold for $1275. The most recent PCGS MS64+ I can find is on a Heritage Auction, though that coin had a 60 degree rotated die and sold for $3840! WOW! I have not been able to find a single other example in the past 5 years on any auction website of an MS64+ having sold.

The PCGS Population for MS64+ graded 1878 Carson City Morgan Silver Dollars, is a mere 373 coins. Compare to 8,512 coins graded MS64. There are 2,420 coins graded MS65, and then fewer than 600 coins finer than MS65
