1883-S Morgan Silver Dollar Paramount MS65 Redfield Choice BU Key Date – RARE!

Rare 1883-S Redfield Morgan Dollar housed in a Red Paramount MS65 vintage slab.

I personally grade ths coin MS62. Fully lustrous with excellent mint bloom and a sharp strike that is nearly full. Chatter on the cheek and fields is moderate and the factor most holding the grade down by my assessment. The luster is excellent and the eye appeal strong. I would not be surprised to see this coin professionally graded at the 63 level as the original surfaces abd luster seem to carry more weight at least the last 2 years but this is just an educated guess

A hairline crack runs vertically down the reverse side of the slab but does not affect the integrity of the coin . The crack has not resulted in an loss of plastic and is not “through an thropugh”. The crack is inside the plastic so as to not impact the integrity of the slab

Rare mint state 1883-S Morgan Dollar – not many of these exist in total population of Redfield Morgan Dollars
