Semi Key Scarce 1905-S Barber Half Dollar with VF+/XF Detail. A series of fine scratches in the obverse right field is all that separates this coin from a beautiful and fully original Choice VF with claims to XF coin.

Aside from those scratches in the right obverse field, the surface quality of the balance of the coin is wonderful medium gray patina with no hair lines or signs of cleaning and no other problems to point out

Full LIBERTY with most of the upper and lower band. The 13 Obverse stars are well struck and 3 dimensional. Almost all forehead hair remains and excellent fine detail on the diadem or head dress. On the reverse the eagle’s wings extend 90% to the tips and the neck and tail feathers are thick and bushy and loaded with fine detail.
