Scarce Variety 1879-S, Reverse of 1878 in a BU Grade housed in an older Tan PCI Slab labeled as VAM9 by a previous owner.

Tough to find in any grade but the price goes way up once you get to the uncirculated grades with Greysheet Bid/Ask in the very lowest grade of 60 at $385/$500

Lustrous coin, fully uncirculated with scattered contact marks and a few hair lines
