Scarce 1921-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar with F to Choice F Detail.

The damage can be seen on the reverse around 6:00 = at the OL in DOLLAR, a small dig or divot can be seen. It almost looks like someone was about to drill a hole through the coin and maybe they stopped realizing it was a low mintage key date, or maybe it wasnt that at all. I am purely speculating. The damage DOES NOT go through and through. There is no evidence of it on the other side and the coin was NOT holed and repared. It was not repaired at all in fact.,

Otherwise, the coin exhibits very pleasing, surface quality and strong detail. Tough to find these coins above the G Grade level and even tougher to find them with uncleaned, unmolested surfaces.
