Original Hnd Wrapped Paper BU Roll of 1962 Philadelphia Uncirculated Roosevelt Dimes – 50 Choice BU Coins

From a small hoard of original rolls – all wrapped in the same/similar paper and stored away for decades. Each hand wrapped roll is tight (especially for a hand wrapped roll) and has tissue paper on the ends. As was a typical practice at the time, end of paper wrapped rolled coins would often see tin foil or tissue paper between the end of roll coin and the paper. The thought was to protect the coins from toning. Did this practice work? To some extent. Coins seemed to tone less and the luster on the coins that I was able to carefully expose the coins is very strong and clearly original. I’ve also seen dozens or hundreds of rolls similarly protected by foil or tissue wrap over the years and they all have that same thick, original luster.

Weight of 125.1g confirms a full roll of 50 Uncirculated 90% Silver Dimes (any 90% silver denomination, dimes, quarters or halves weight shoyuld be 250g per $10 face. There is a +/-1% margin of error to be within acceptable range).
