The box top which comes taped to the bottom box has been scotched taped by a previous owner. Under the scotch tape you can still see the original navy blue tape used by the GSA so I assuming the original tape probably dried out and was no longer holding the top and the bottom together like a hinge.

Aside from the scotch taped box top, the coin itself is a very nice Choice BU, almost 100% white lustrous coin and the box itself and COA are in excellent condition with no  damage or signs of graffiti or significant wear
